I understand Kat Sii 7. Lagard is to receive £6000 a year plus a certain allowance. This will be payable (in certain proportions) from S. & N. Nigeria pending an elegancia certificate regarding myself.

Since there is little doubt that I was alive on March 16 last & I can certify that I have received no pay subsequent to that date, I trust that the Secretary of State may be moved to give instructions to the Crown Agents to disburse my pay.
